Baku/23.03.22/Turan: As a result of operational-search activities by employees of the Jalilabad district police department, drugs with a total weight of more than 19 kg were discovered and seized, two drug couriers were detained, the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The detainees are residents of Masalli Nurlan Rahimov and Adam Tahmazov. They were detained with different packages about 9.2 kg of heroin, 3.64 kg of opium and 6.5 kg of marijuana.
During the investigation, it was found that the suspects had purchased drugs from a trafficker living abroad and were supposed to deliver them for the purpose of sale to the identified destinations. An investigation is underway in the Jalilabad police department.—06B-
