Baku/15.07.20/Turan: Member of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) Farid Asadov was detained on June 15 in the morning.
Asadov was detained while he was driving in his car. Another car blocked his road, several men got out and took him away in an unknown direction.
The party believes that the reason for the detention was Asadov’s participation in a nightly rally in support of the army.
Asadov participated in the rally, but did not commit any illegal actions, the Popular Front Party said.
Another PFPA member, Elvin Bahmanoglu, was arrested on July 14 by a decision of the Masalli court for 15 days on charges of not subordinating to the police.
“In fact, Bahmanoglu took part in the funeral of Major Anar Novruzov, who died in Tovuz. There he was detained and taken to the police,” the PFA reported. –21C-
