Windy weather is expected in Baku, snow in mountains
Baku/03.02.23 / Turan: No precipitation is expected in Baku and Absheron on Saturday, February 4. Wind is a south-western which turns into the north-western in the evening. Air temperature at night will be +2 + 4, during the day it will be +6 + 9.
Regions of the country are also expected to be mostly without precipitation. However, snow is expected in some mountainous areas in the evening, fogs, western wind.
Air temperature at night in the lowlands is from -2 to +3, during the day it will be +6 +9.
In the mountains at night -9 -14 frost, during the day it will be -0 -5.
At night and in the morning, roads in mountainous and foothill areas will be covered with ice.
It should be added that snow has fallen in the mountainous regions of Azerbaijan over the past day. This morning, the height of the snow cover in Gakh was 19 cm, Altyagadzh-17 cm, Khaltan – 12 cm, Shahdag, ice floe – 10 cm, Shamakhi – 6 cm, Gobustan - 4 cm, Gusar - 2 cm, Guba - 1 cm -06B-

September 27 is commemorated as Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan. On that day, the 44-day Second Karabakh War began. The Azerbaijani Government stated that as a result of this war and the one-day military operation that followed, the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country were ensured.

Today, on September 26, a meeting is expected in New York between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia regarding peace negotiations. The meeting is set to take place with the participation of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The Secretary will bring the ministers together at a hotel in New York as part of the annual session of the UN General Assembly. This will be Blinken's second trilateral meeting with them on U.S. soil within three months. The last time the three diplomats met was during the NATO summit in Washington on July 10 of this year.
