Baku/04.08.23/Turan: On Saturday, August 5, there is a chance of short-term rain in some places in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, and an increasing north-westerly wind will blow at times. The air temperature will be +20 +25° at night, +28 +33° during the day, the National Hydrometeorological Service reports. In the regions of Azerbaijan, there will be occasional rains in some places.
In mountainous and foothill areas, precipitation will be torrential, thunderstorms are expected, there is a chance of hail. During the day, there will be no precipitation in most areas, a moderate easterly wind will blow. The air temperature at night will be +20 +25 °, during the day +31 +36 °; +12 +17° is expected in the mountains at night, +18 +23° in the afternoon. ---06B---

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
