Work goes ahead with clearing liberated territories of mines
Baku/22.09.21/Turan: Engineering and sapper units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, together with Turkish sappers, continue to clear up the liberated territories from mines and unexploded ordnance, the press service of the Ministry of Defense said.
"Road clearance is being carried out to ensure the safe movement of motor vehicles and military equipment.
Engineering works are underway to lay new supply routes for our units stationed in the mountainous area."
As of today, more than 11,900 ha have been cleared of mines and more than 16,000 mines and unexploded ordnance disposed. -02D-
