Bakı / 11.02.19 / Turan: The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev appointed Zahid Oruj as Chairman of the Social Research Center. This is stated in a message published on the website of the head of state.
Oruj is a non-partisan MP. He participated as a candidate for the presidency in the presidential elections of 2013 and 2018. At the same time, in his election campaign speeches, he actually supported the policy of Ilham Aliyev.
The decree on the creation of the Social Research Center was signed by the President on February 8. The Center is created with the aim of systematic research and analysis of the dynamics of the development of public relations, predicting changes and their possible impact on society.
