I support the appeal of Rustam Ibrahimbayov

I appeal to cultural figures with request to speak in support of TOFIG YAGUBLU   and to PROTECT him.

In civilized countries, the state saves the life of each of its citizens. Everyone understands that the sentence was unreasonably cruel and unjust. The judge clearly overdid it trying to please someone unknown, but he caused damage to authorities.

If Azerbaijan is a democratic country or we are moving towards democracy, then the release of Tofig Yagublu will become a humane step towards renewal and cleaning the country from negativity.

Every citizen has the right to his personal opinion, but this should not be a reason to persecute and imprison.

Tofig Yagublu, louder and bolder than many, expressed his opinion, and I do not consider him an "oppositionist".

He is a Patriot, and he fought for our land. He spoke for those who were silent. He blamed those who were feared.

He became a part of the positive changes that are now taking place, and he brought them closer.

His release will be a victory of civil society and a victory for the authorities, which have taken a course towards reforming the old system.

Tofig Yagublu, with his hunger strike, once again proved that he has Courage (not everyone has it). His words "Freedom or Death" are not mere words. So give him FREEDOM !!!
