While sorting through the archives on the eve of the 20th of January, I came across a folder with photos given to me by my late colleague Farhad Kerimov.

These were well-known photos of funerals of the victims of the January tragedy. Among them I came across a picture that caught my attention. It was a photo of 11-year-old Larisa Mammadova - the youngest among 135 victims of the 20th January tragedy.

During the days of that tragedy, Farhad was one of our journalists who took foreign journalists around the city, helping them to communicate with the survivors of the 20th of January.

Apparently, they also visited Larisa Mammadova's family, where he was given a photo of the deceased.

Farhad Kerimov travelled extensively in the conflict zone and tragically died in Chechnya in 1995.

Before one of his trips, he brought his photos taken in various hot spots to Turan Agency. Larisa Mammadova's photo was among them.

In the photo Larisa is with her relatives and seems to be with her younger brother. On the back side of the photo is the address: 8, Mukhtadyr street, flat 6

Then phone number and mother's name: Galina Grigorievna Urvacheva.  This photo is kept in Turan agency.

We are ready to give it to Larisa Mammadova's family.
