US President Congratulates Azerbaijan on Novruz Holiday
Baku/18.03.21/Turan: US President Joe Biden sent a congratulatory message to the President of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the upcoming Novruz holiday.
Wishing good luck and prosperity to Azerbaijan, Biden notes that "this period of renewal provides an opportunity to emphasize our readiness for cooperation and commitment to peace."
The new US administration is ready to work with Azerbaijan towards regional peace and related concerns.
"As a co-chairing country of the OSCE Minsk Group, we are ready to help the parties in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and we remain loyal to the efforts to achieve reconciliation between Azerbaijan and Armenia."
The United States is also committed to supporting the development of the Azerbaijani economy and supports efforts to develop energy projects in the Caspian Sea, the US President's message of congratulations says. –0-----

Russia is doing everything it can to normalize the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and facilitate the signing of a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday during a ceremony for the presentation of credentials by foreign ambassadors.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry declined to clarify for Turan the conflict reported by the Politico website between Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the EU Vagif Sadikhov and Armenia's head of diplomatic representation to the EU, Tigran Balayan. The Ministry only confirmed that Politico had indeed communicated with the Azerbaijani ambassador and that he told the foreign media outlet that everything Balayan claimed was false.
