Baku/28.09.23/Turan: The so-called "advisor to the Artsakh president" David Babayan has decided to turn himself in and surrender to the Azerbaijani authorities.
This, as Armenian media reports, is stated in a statement he circulated.
"You all know that I am blacklisted in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani side demanded my arrival in Baku for a proper investigation. I made a decision to head today from Stepanakert to Shusha. This decision will naturally cause great pain, excitement and stress, first of all to my loved ones, but I am sure they will understand. My non-appearance or worse my escape will cause serious harm to our long-suffering people, to many people, and this I, as an honest man, worker, patriot and Christian, cannot allow," Babayan's statement said. -06В-

UN Secretary-General António Guterres confirmed today that the countries participating in the COP29 climate conference in Baku have not yet reached an agreement on funding for climate change mitigation for the coming year.
