"European Village" at Baku Boulevard
Baku/16.05.22/Turan: A "European Village" (Euro Village- 2022) event organized by the EU mission in Baku was held on Saturday at Baku Boulevard.
Visitors of the event had an opportunity to learn more about the European Union, its values and activities, including long-term cooperation and partnership with Azerbaijan.
A number of EU-supported projects and activities were presented at the event.
Peter Mikhalko, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan, stated: "The European Village is a window to Europe, an opportunity to see, learn and enjoy the rich culture and diversity that make up the European Union. We are happy to share this celebration with our Azerbaijani friends and to inform them about the strong partnership that the EU and Azerbaijan are building together!"
Activities included music and painting lessons; face painting and mini-train rides; a children's book corner and storybook characters; "Healthy lifestyle for all"; mini-football with the captain of the Neftchi football club Emin Mahmudov; quizzes with European Youth Ambassadors; and a dance and music program from Europe and Azerbaijan.
Visitors could obtain information about opportunities to study in European countries, as well as regional development programs, health care, etc. In the evening there was a concert with singers and deejays. -02D-

On November 28 at 5:00 PM, the opening ceremony of Ukrainian Film Days will take place at Landmark Cinema in Baku. The event is organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan. From November 28 to December 1, residents of Baku and guests of the capital will have the opportunity to watch a selection of the best films by Ukrainian filmmakers. The event will open with a press briefing.
