Niyazi Mehdi published a book about interesting things in modern and historical Azerbaijan
Baku / 28.06.18 / Turan: Professor of Philosophy, Niyazi Mehdi, published a new book-study of folklore features of Azerbaijan. In the book "Amazing people - amazing events, collected and explained from the Azerbaijani history" the author analyzes by historical and ethnographic terms the philological and behavioral examples found by him in the course of many years of research. The spectrum of the studied and described in the last while Niyazi Mehdi's book can be judged by the names of its chapters:
- On instructive events and personalities in Azerbaijani history;
- About amazing natural events in Azerbaijan;
- First performed in Azerbaijan;
- About words, sayings and generally languages in Azerbaijan;
- Interesting incidents in the history of Azerbaijan;
- On the strange customs of Azerbaijanis; and etc.
The book consists of nine chapters. Among them there is also a study of the subjects of jewelry and gestures of Azerbaijanis and a chapter dedicated to the crushing betrayals in the history of Azerbaijan. Undoubtedly, the reader of the new book will find in the book a lot of interesting things. "Perhaps the book has just entered the stores," the author warned readers.
