РБК: The film "Oppenheimer" received the Golden Globe Award in the category "Best Dramatic Film". The film was also nominated for Best Director (Christopher Nolan), Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Drama (Cillian Murphy) and Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Robert Downey Jr.).
“Oppenheimer” was released in the United States in July 2023. It tells the story of the life of American physicist Robert Oppenheimer, who led American nuclear weapons development. The film's worldwide box office gross exceeds $950 million.
The victory in the category “Best Film (Musical or Comedy)” was won by the film “The Poor and Unfortunate” by Yorgos Lanthimos. The leading actress in it, Emma Stone, was recognized as the best actress in a musical or comedy.
The prize for best actor in a musical or comedy went to Paul Giamatti (“The Leftovers”), and Lily Gladstone (“Killers of the Flower Moon”) was recognized as best dramatic actress.
The detective film Anatomy of a Fall (France) won the Best Foreign Language Film category. The best series were recognized as “The Descendants” (in the drama category) and “The Bear” (musical or comedy). Hayao Miyazaki's The Boy and the Bird won the Golden Globe for Best Animated Film.
The film “Barbie” was awarded in the categories “Cinematic and Box Office Achievement” (awarded for the first time, the film’s grosses exceed $1.4 billion) and “Best Original Song for a Motion Picture” (Billie Eilish received the statuette for the song “What Was I Made For?”).
