Baku / 02.28.19 / Turan: On Wednesday, the National Conservatory hosted a presentation of a collection of notes entitled "Jazz and Music Repertoire".
It is noteworthy that the musical works in the collection are presented in the transcription for the container - the Azerbaijani folk instrument.
The collection was presented by a famous tar player, honored artist of Azerbaijan Shakhriyar Imanov.
The publication of the collection and presentation were sponsored by the Swiss Embassy in Azerbaijan.
Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland, Simon Heiberly, in her speech praised the artist's work, calling him a continuer of the traditions of Vagif Mustafazade.
The artist himself said that the collection features 10 very famous musical works of the 20th century. The preparation of the transcriptions and the publication took several months. The collection will be used as a textbook for students.

On November 28 at 5:00 PM, the opening ceremony of Ukrainian Film Days will take place at Landmark Cinema in Baku. The event is organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan.
