Public Service Created for Protection of Cultural Heritage
By the order of the President, the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage was established under the Ministry of Culture. The new service is created on the basis of the Joint Management of Construction Projects.
By the Order of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of 19 December, Zakir Sultanov was appointed head of the State Service for Protection of Cultural Heritage.
This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Culture. The features of the new public service and the extent of its powers have not been reported. Judging by the title, we can assume that the entity will manage historical and cultural monuments, as well as work on their preservation and use. -02D-
