The Head of State issued a directive of filming the television movie Dada Gorgud. To prepare the literary script and organizational issues the contingency fund of the President allocated 1 million manat to the Ministry of Culture, the website of the President reported.
When and by whom the movie will be filmed is unknown.
Recall that a two-part film Dada Gorgud was made by the azerbaijanfilm studio in 1975.
The dastan (epic) Dada Gorgud is an ancient written monument of Azerbaijani folklore. The epic consists of 12 stories about the Oguz people. who were ancient Turks. -02D-
