Ali Hasanov's intimate boomerang
Baku/25.08.21/Turan: Former presidential assistant Ali Hasanov said that he was subjected to threats and blackmail. He shared this information on Twitter. Hasanov claims that he was blackmailed with a secretly filmed photograph: “Since yesterday, I have been receiving serious threats from some addresses that they will post videos on the Internet that were secretly filmed in the toilet and decorated with various erotic videos around the perimeter. I have already informed the relevant authorities. This is the work of the mafia, which has taken root in the social network and at the right time, it will be punished."
Lawyer Aslan Ismailov commented on this and other topics in the "Difficult Question" program.
According to him, Ali Hasanov's status on Twitter has a purpose. One of them may be the fact that for 20 years he headed the propaganda sphere in Azerbaijan and, together with Ramiz Mehdiyev, formed an army of trolls. He is confident that he has sufficient power in the field of media. He trusts these trolls. Those who are now allegedly threatening Ali Hasanov, blackmailing him, are his pupils. Thus, he wants to create an image of himself as a person who is being persecuted by the authorities.
On the other hand, Ismailov believes that the General Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation into the case of the Fund for State Support to the Development of Mass Media (FSSDMM) superficially. Since, the main persons involved in this case, headed by Ali Hasanov, turned out to be outside the limits of criminal responsibility. However, his presence in court is required. Therefore, it is possible that with his statement, Ali Hasanov makes it clear that he does not intend to give up.
According to the lawyer, the immorality, lack of any morality that have reigned in the Azerbaijani media over the past 20 years, as well as the fact that insults and slander have become commonplace, became possible thanks to the efforts of Ali Hasanov. At the same time, Ismailov noted, blackmail and threats against Ali Hasanov, as well as any other person, are unacceptable. -0—
