Azerbaijan made clear that a new status quo has been created

Baku/21.05.21/Turan: "There can be small concessions between Azerbaijan and Armenia, such as the providing of maps of mined areas and the return of Armenian soldiers.  However, the parties are not ready to sign a peace agreement.  This was stated by political analyst Leyla Aliyeva in Turan's program "A Difficult Question" on May 21, dedicated to "Messages to Azerbaijan, the U.S., the EU, and Armenia."

According to her, in his recent speeches about this, President Ilham Aliyev repeated the earlier theses. In the current situation, he refused US assistance in the Karabakh issue: "Azerbaijan prefers cooperation with these forces, especially in the post-conflict period," Aliyeva said.
