Baku/28.07.22/Turan: The day before, the Prosecutor General's Office made the following statement: “In recent days, some users of social media have been replicating false information in order to undermine the reputation of the Azerbaijani army, create artificial excitement among citizens, as well as undermine the work carried out towards strengthening the state's defense capability".
To prevent cases aimed at violating social and political stability, the rights and freedoms of citizens, the persons who committed such actions were invited to the Prosecutor General's Office, and measures were taken against them.
Users of social networks, journalists - the head of the site jamaz.info Ibishbeyli Fikret Faramaz oglu, the head of the site miq.az Alyshov Agil Balabey oglu, a resident of the city of Shirvan Elchin Ismail Khankerem oglu, a resident of Lankaran district Jabbarly Ali Allahverdi oglu and a resident of Khachmaz district Nurana Etibar (Fataliyeva) were warned about the inadmissibility of such negative actions in the future in accordance with Article 22 of the Law "On the Prosecutor's Office".
In accordance with Article 24 of the Law "On the Prosecutor's Office", for posting information prohibited by law on his page on the social network Facebook, a criminal case was initiated against Shahmuradov Tofik Tehmuraz oglu under Article 388-1.1.1 (Placing information prohibited for dissemination in information resource of the Internet or information and telecommunications network, as well as preventing the placement of such information) of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The case was sent to the Nizami District Court. By a court decision, Tofig Shahmuradov was sentenced to administrative arrest for a month.
What is the reason for such a stormy activity of the Prosecutor General's Office?
Fikret Faramez oglu, the head of the jamaz.info website, and military journalist and expert Uzeyir Jafarov, who received a warning from the Prosecutor General's Office, told about this in the program "Difficult Question".
According to Fikret Faramaz oglu, they were summoned to the Non-Criminal Proceedings Department of the Prosecutor General's Office. There they told me that I had spread the message about the explosion of a mine in the territory of the Kalbajar region liberated from occupation, without waiting for the message from the Ministry of Defense (MO).
“I was told that “by disseminating information without specifying the Ministry of Defense, I distorted it (the time of the incident indicated in the message of Fikret Faramaz oglu does not coincide with the time indicated in the message of the Ministry of Defense - ed.), and that I had to coordinate my message.
From this conversation, I realized that in fact the call to the Prosecutor General's Office is connected with the Ministry of Defense's concern that in my message I pointed out the presence of Lieutenant General Enver Efendiyev at the scene,” the journalist said.
They made an argument - your message was shared by various people and at the same time spread by the Armenian media.
According to military expert Uzeyir Jafarov, the Ministry of Defense should disseminate the necessary information as quickly as possible to prevent the emergence and spread of rumors.
“Unfortunately, we look at it through our fingers. At the same time, it is the professional duty of a journalist to disseminate information as soon as possible, in more detail. Therefore, such collisions arise,” Jafarov noted.
However, he stressed that journalists should also understand that Lieutenant General Enver Efendiyev is the commander of the Ground Forces of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Deputy Minister of Defense.
“Information about the location of the Deputy Minister of Defense, the commander of the Ground Forces, and that he allegedly blew up on a mine can be used by the enemy. But, again, the Defense Ministry must understand that the lack of operational and comprehensive (within reasonable limits) information gives rise to rumors. It is necessary to disseminate the necessary information faster and faster than journalists,” Jafarov stressed.--0--
