Access to the Internet to expand in big cities
Access to the Internet and telephone services will be better for a few more hundred thousand newly minted citizens.
As said at the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on regional issues Arif Rahimzadeh his head, the whole infrastructure will be provided by relying new districts of the country's second city - Ganja. Its territory by neighboring villages Dashkesan, Goranboy, Goygol and Samukh regions will be increased to 12.5 thousand hectares (2.7 million).
Another innovation for the new wave of Baku - the capital will have the 12th district Pirallahy (in Soviet times - Artyom Island, thanks to the dam became a peninsula). In addition, in the new administrative unit there will be Chilov Island and Oil Rocks. All three settlements will be removed from the Khazar district of Baku, and based on them a separate area will be created.
"Although the new district will not have a large area - over 1,500 hectares - with a population of 18 thousand people, this site is very important from a strategic point of view. Currently there are oil industry towns, but in the future with the development of Azerbaijan, in particular, with the development tourism, there may be established tourist facilities," said the Chairman of the Committee.
Experts say that over time, these areas will be exploited by people who do not have work in the regions. Urbanization will continue. - 17D-
