Almost 80 % of traffic accidents last year occurred in and around Baku
The Bureau of Compulsory Insurance spread information about the regions , where most cases of accidents occurred .
According to the organization, all the companies - members of the Bureau (within the mandatory liability of vehicle owners to third parties) in the last year were presented 18,447 requirements from the customers upon the insured event - the payment on them was more than 25.3 million manats.
Most road accidents, as expected, were in Baku city and the adjacent Absheron region - 78.9 %. They were followed by Sumgayit - 3.42 %, more disciplined Ganja - 2.09 % and further - on the descending line. Interestingly, 3.35% classified as "other" settlements. - 17D-
