Amount of premiums of only foreign insurer for the year declined by half
BAKU/22.01.14/TURAN : The volume of premiums collected last year by Chartis Azerbaijan decreased as compared with the corresponding period last year almost doubled , reaching 927.61 thousand manats.
As reported by Turan in the company, in the structure of earnings premium for property insurance against fire and other risks amounted to 420.17 thousand manats, which is almost half ( 45.3 %) of all premiums.
Cargo insurance collected 62.1 thousand manats. At this year's second place for the third year in a row popped liability to third parties. For example, professional liability insurance collected 221.12 thousand manats, the general liability - 193.91 thousand manats, employers' liability insurance - 8.48 thousand AZN .
For once the strongest position ( insurance against accidents and diseases) only collected 3.67 thousand AZN .
On all cases was paid ??AZN 412.84 thsd of insurance claims.
Almost all payments fell to fires and other risks related to property - 391.51 thousand manats.
The third consecutive year due to lack of membership in the Bureau of compulsory insurance is not collected premiums for compulsory insurance , and insurance are not made ??insurance payments .
Chartis Azerbaijan Insurance Company has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1999. Previously, it was registered as subsidiary of AIG (American International Group), providing services of general insurance (other than life insurance) in Azerbaijan.
Now, instead of 49 percent British and American capital the structure has 100 % foreign ( English) capital (registered on 15 October 2010) , which provides services for 10 types of insurance.
The authorized capital of the company amounts to 6 million 786,5 thousand manats. - 17D-
