Azersu Fights against Violators
Joint Stock Company Azersu for the seven months elapsed replenished the cashier at 627.74 thousand manat. All the revenues were penalties against consumers illegally (without permission) connected to waterways.
From January to August, the organization on the territory of Azerbaijan revealed 914 cases of illegal use of water - says the official information portal.
Only in July of this year across the country were found 89 charges of illegal use of water, 75 of them in the capital and 14 in the regions of Azerbaijan. Last month, the offenders had to pay 160.42 thousand manat of penalty. - 17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
