Azersun Holding Develops Market of St. Petersburg
The group of companies Azersun Holding founded in a joint venture in St. Petersburg to supply food from Azerbaijan to this region.
Today the Chairman of the Committee on the Development of Business and Consumer Market of the government of the northern capital of Russia Elgiz Kachayev said during the Azerbaijani-Russian business forum held in Baku the city and the region are interested in importing these products.
On this occasion, the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko visited the office and production areas of Azersun Holding in the innovation park of Bina. The head of the second largest Russian region and members of the delegation got acquainted with the production capacity of the company and discussed the prospects of cooperation and expansion of the supply of agricultural products to the market of the northern capital.
Recall, Azersun Holding, the country's largest producer and exporter, is also a leader in the field of food production and trade. It owns large agricultural areas and major manufacturing facilities in Russia and other countries. Products of the holding make up to 60% of the assortment of the local food stores, and they are also supplied to a number of neighboring countries.--17D-
