AZN 10 million for the purchase of breeding stock
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed on February 11 this year, a decree "On additional measures for the development of animal husbandry", according to which to import breeding stock the state Agroleasing JSC will be allocated 10 million manat.
The document was adopted in order to fully meet the needs of the population in the meat and dairy products, rapid development of livestock production and improve breeding, the document says.
In accordance with previously adopted regulations, which are paid for by the state budget cattle sold to private individuals and legal entities in 50% of the long-term lease.
According to the National Fund for Entrepreneurship, currently in Barda, Agdash and Salyan districts are under construction large livestock complexes of 5200 heads of cattle. In previous years in Gabala, Agjabadi, Agdam, Barda and other areas of similar complexes were built in the 7450 head of cattle.
In JSC Agroleasing they told Turan that since 2009 has been purchased by the state budget 6290 breeding calves from Germany and Austria. Today, with the reproduction of their population exceeds 11,000.
Only in the 2012 presidential order from the state budget for the purchase of breeding stock has been allocated 9.4 million manat. Given their own 1,140,000 manats JSC Agroleasing concluded agreements for the purchase of 3020 calves. To date, these contracts delivered in 2420 to the country bare of cattle. The remaining 600 head of cattle will be delivered in the next few days, said the joint-stock company. - 08B-
