Body of a third member of the helicopter crew found
On the morning of February 12 rescuers found the body of Captain Yashar Ahmadov - the commander and third member of the crew of the helicopter Mi-17 which crashed into the sea a day ago at Baku Shikhovo beach, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported.
According to witnesses at the crash site, rescue workers found the black box of the helicopter, but official confirmation of this has not yet been released.
Earlier, the bodies of two other crew members - Lt. Rustam Rustamov and Behrouz Zeynalov were found. The Mi-17 helicopter belonged to Azerbaijani Air Force and flew from the airfield at Gala to Kurdamir. For some unknown reason, it crashed into the sea at 10:30 on February 11, 300 meters from the shore in the Garadagh district. -16B-
