Baku Residents Face Transport Surprises This Morning Again
Two bus routes in Baku (No 88 and No 37) have been changed from today on. It is reported by the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) in Baku.
According to the Center, if earlier Route №88 ran from Azadlig Avenue to Area No 20, from October 6 buses on this route will be valid only up to the metro station 28 May. Route №37 too, will not go to its former last stop – Area No 20 in the Bayil settlement. Passengers will have to get off at the metro station Icheri Sheher.
ITMC explains these changes with the operation of new bus routes No 6 and No 8 by LLC Baku Bus from today on.
Route №13 has been eliminated altogether. Now, buses of Ltd. Baku Bus for №6 will run on this route.
Note that the public bus company Baku Bus acted on three routes (1, 5, and H1) before.
As a rule, the Ministry of Transport announces innovations in urban passenger transport just on the day of their application and sometimes even applies them without warning. ---08D
