Book will be published on the ethics of the Internet
The non-governmental Center for Integration into Europe is going to publish the book "Law and Ethics in the Internet."
This was announced during the seminar "Legal problems of cybercrime. The responsibility for these acts, provided by the Criminal Code", organized by the NGO.
If the right in the virtual space is the clarity and understanding of lawyers with ethics is not that simple. Thus, the International Federation for Information Technologies" (IFIP) recommended the adoption of codes of computer ethics to national organizations of other countries, taking into account local cultural and ethical traditions. In the basis of the adopted codes is an invariant set of moral attitudes, which can be conventionally formulated as follows:
1) Do not use a computer to harm other people;
2) Do not interfere or intervene in the work of other users of computer networks;
3) Do not use files that are not intended for free use;
4) Do not use a computer to steal;
5) Do not use your computer to spread false information;
6) Do not use stolen software;
7) Do not assign the intellectual property;
8) Do not use the computer equipment or network resources without authorization or proper compensation;
9) Think about the possible social consequences of written or developed programs;
10) Use computers with self-limitations that show your thoughtfulness and respect for others. Admission to foul language and other "liberties" are not under the Criminal Code - the prerogative of the site administrator, but not of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan.
In Azerbaijan, under the ethics they mean loyalty to the regime. Other specified prohibitions in practice, can be broken. Most computers do not have secure software as local Microsoft prefers not to get involved in scandals.
According to official figures, in the former Soviet Union Russia is the most advanced state in the fight against piracy and theft - in the "zero" years the level of piracy there was 93%, and now it is 68%. In Azerbaijan, this figure is above 80%. -17D-
