Cabinet of Ministers Extended Concept of "Electronic Government"
Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has expanded and clarified the requirements of Regulation e-services provided by the central executive authority in specific areas.
If previously under the portal of "electronic government" implied a virtual information resource that provides unity of electronic services to the population of the central bodies of executive power in the framework of the "single window", the current version provides an enhanced version of the concept.
If in the previous version in charge of organizing the activities of the "electronic government" was the Ministry of Communications and Information and Communication Technologies, and now it is laced with the state agency for Special Communications and Information Security Special State Protection Service of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
