Center for repair of civil helicopters of Mi-8 opens in Baku
The holding "Helicopters of Russia" (included in Rostech) will open in Azerbaijan a center for repair of helicopters Mi-8/17, Tass was told by the deputy general director for after sales of the Holding Igor Czeczik (http://tass.ru/armiya-i-opk/3524775).
The corresponding agreement was expected to be signed at the exhibition ADEX-2016 by the end of September. It provides for the opening of businesses on the basis of Silk Way Helicopter Services service center in Baku for maintenance and overhaul of helicopters of the type mentioned. At the same time was considered the possibility of expanding capacity of the center for the execution of maintenance and overhaul of military helicopters, said Czeczik, and added that now there are negotiations about the procedure and the form of cooperation. On August 8, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin on the results of the summit of the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran, told reporters about the plans to open the center in Baku helicopter and aircraft factory assembly. --17D-
