Despite any dynamics of export-import operations, Azerbaijani customs officers provide to the state budget for different types of taxes and duties for the last three months to 133.5 million manat. Meanwhile taxes on this amount do not change from March this year in any case of taxes and duties.
According to the State Customs Committee, in May were collected customs duties - 20.6 million manat, VAT - 105.4 million manat, excise taxes - 6.1 million manat and road tax - 1.4 million manat. In May compared with April, customs fees increased 16 thousand manats.
For five months of this year the SCC was transferred to the state budget 597.4 million manat, which is 14.3% more than in the comparable period of 2013.
This year, customs officers must ensure that the state budget receives 1 billion 510 million (+9.1%). For this they should collect 125.8 million manat every month.- 08B-

Azerbaijan's retail trade turnover climbed 3.9% in real terms in 2024 compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 62.2 billion manats, the State Statistics Committee revealed. Food, beverages, and tobacco accounted for 34.1 billion manats, while non-food products contributed 28.1 billion manats to the total.
