DEG extended subordinate loan to Unibank
OJSC Unibank has signed an agreement with the well-known German Investment Corporation DEG to extend the life of subordinate loan of $ 15 million. The agreement between the parties on the Subordinated debentures was signed in April 2008. As reported in the bank, the document on the extension of the agreement signed by the Chairman of the Board of Unibank Faig Huseynov and member of the Management Board of DEG Philip Creutz.
Since 2005, the DEG has been one of the shareholders of Unibank and owns a 8.33% stake. - 15D -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
