Delay of Pensions and Other Benefits Related to Technical Problems
As previously reported by Turan, in several parts of Baku a delay of pensions and social benefits has been observed in July. Thus, in the Surakhani district the citizens began to take their pensions from ATMs of Capital Bank on July 14.
As the head of the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan, Elman Babayev, told Turan, the reasons are purely technical and are mainly related to the fact that the Ramadan festival with two days off came in the beginning of the month. In fact, the financing of pensions, allowances, stipends and other social payments is made in full. Thus, according to the protocol on division of transfers between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor, in July 81.1 million AZN was transferred to the State Social Protection Fund. In general, 741.3 million AZN was transferred in the 7 months plus the revenue side of the State Fund.
Recall that a presidential decree "On measures of management improvement in the field of social protection" included the state fund in the integral structure of the Ministry of Labor, which means one-man management and good governance, an integrated approach and the application of ICT for the appointment of pensions and other social payments on the principle of "single window". --17D-
