Deposit Base of Banks for First Time Reached 11.66 Billion Manat
BAKU/10.09.13/TURAN : Deposits of credit organizations in Azerbaijan increased in July 2013 to 255.2 million or 2.2 % to 11,655.1 million manat. Over the past 12 months , three of which there was a decline , the figure rose to 1,986.4 million or 20.5%.

By the beginning of August individuals in the bank deposits and investments in the amount of 6019.3 million manats , which corresponds to 51.6% of the total score ( 51.9 % a month earlier ) . Short-term investments of individuals in the reporting month increased by 39.5 million or 1.1% to 3452.2 million manat. Long-term savings by individuals increased by 57.6 million or 2.3% to 2567.1 million manat.
Time deposits increased to 7,781.3 million or 66.7% of the total. The total demand deposits stood at 3873.8 million manat.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan , the average rate of the manat deposits and deposits decreased in July by 0.08 percentage points to 9.49 % on savings in foreign currency - by 0.07 percentage points to 10.04 %. In the reporting month, the manat deposits accepted from individuals an average of 9.97 % per annum , the currency - at 10.46 %. For legal entities , the figures were 5.10% and 4.16 %, respectively. - 15B -
