Docent Rahimbeyli to "Help" AIC for 15,000 Manats
JSC Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) concluded on October 7 a contract with Rafik Rahimbeyli to provide services for the study of the feasibility of agricultural projects in three areas north of the city of Baku.
A specialist of the department of legal expertise in AIC Ilkin Abdiyev told Turan the company received from the investor proposals for the implementation of joint projects in the Khizi, Siyazan and Shabran regions. Therefore, it became necessary to analyze the prospects of the agricultural sector in these regions.
With regard to the contractor, the AIC noted that Rafik Urfat Rahimbeyli is a consultant to the Ministry of Agriculture on a contractual basis. He is PhD in Biology, Associate Professor, and has additional education in the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University on agrochemicals.
Agricultural research will be carried out within six months, and Professor Rafik Rahimbeyli will receive from AIC about 15 thousand mantas for that.
JSC Azerbaijan Investment Company was established in 2006 by 160 million manats of the State Oil Fund. AIC has a stake in several companies at no more than 25%. -----08B

Data on Azerbaijan's oil exports for January-October 2024 reveals a significant drop in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, highlighting the challenges facing the oil-dependent economy. The country exported 495,484.05 tons of oil products worth $309.02 million, a decrease of 40.3% in value and 40.7% in volume compared to 2023, when exports totaled 925,225.07 tons worth $572.21 million.
