Does Agroleasing return unused budget funds ?
The Azerbaijan Chamber of Accounts (ACA) on February 14 meeting of the Board approved the audit plan of financial discipline in Agroleasing. The information is interesting because this society is subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture led by the former chairman of the ACA Heydar Asadov.
The purpose of the verification is analysis of the targeted use of budgetary funds allocated to the society, as well as the return of the means .
In addition, meetings of the Board identified a number of complex drawbacks of almost all economic entities - embezzlement of budgetary funds , illegal payroll and abuse of power, deliberate overstatement of the value of goods and services.
The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan accountable to the country's parliament has been effective since December 7, 2001 as the authority controlling budget spending in Azerbaijan.
Senior officials (members of the Board , which consists of the chairman , his deputy and seven auditors ) are elected every seven years.
The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan, as a rule, is limited to general statements about the board meeting , without giving specific figures and data.
