During 2013 Azerenerji increased power generation by 200 million kwh
In 2013 Azerenerji company, which is in charge of power generation and distribution in Azerbaijan, generated over 21.5 billion kwh of power against 21.3 billion kwh in 2012 (growth by about 1%), reported Azerenerji.
In December 2013 Azerbaijan generated 2.2 billion kwh of power against 2.1 billion kwh in December 2012 (growth by 4.8%).
The capacity of the power stations of Azerenerji totals 6300 MWt. The company has over 200 sub-stations, 8 hydraulic power stations and 13 thermal power stations.
Turan reported that by the end of 2013 Azerenerji owed SOCAR over 300 million AZN for gas delivered to its thermal power stations.—0—
