During 6 months 2013 state budget was executed with proficit
During 6 months, 2012 the state budget of Azerbaijan was executed with proficit of 795 million AZ.
“During 6 months, 2013 the budget incomes totaled 9,525 million AZN and exceeded the forecast by 13.4%. This is up 1,391 million AZN or 17% against the same period last year. The expenses constituted 102.4% and totaled 8,730 million AZN,” Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at the session on July 18, 2013.
Speaking about social progress, he mentioned the growth of population income by 7.1% with the inflation rate of 2%. Average salary is 408.8 AZN, up 6.8% against the same period in 2012. Since early year 283 million AZN was allocated to improve living conditions of refugees and internally displaced people (158 million AZN transferred from the State Oil Fund, 111 million AZN – current and capital costs of the state budget and 14 million AZN are resources from the Reserve Fund of the president). Since June 1, 2012 owners of 1,619,938 private deposits Soviet Saving Bank received compensation of 597 million AZN, of which 42 million AZN was paid during 6 months 2013.
The investments costs at the expense of the state budget totaled 3,449,000,000 AZN, up 37,2% or 935 AZN against July 1, 2012, of which 730 million AZN was spent for construction and reconstruction of social, cultural, scientific and sports objects.
The state monopolists in field of transport, energy, water and gas supply, public utilities and irrigation received 2,129,000,000 AZN. As usual most of the funds (858 million AZN) was allocated for reconstruction of roads to the Transport Ministry, AzerSu received 430 million AZN to supply population with water and renovate the sewage system and Baku subway – 326 million AZN. 187 million AZN was allocated for irrigation and land improvement, 100 million AZN to Azerenerji, 93 million AZN to Azal and 80 million AZN to the program of regional development.
563 million AZN was allocated to the region as subsidies, of which 139 million AZN to the budget of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR). In addition, 200 million AZN was allocated from the Reserve Fund of president for development of the regions.
37 million AZN was allocated to buy pedigree cattle, agricultural machinery, agrarian chemical and other services as a part of the program of reliable supply of population with food products. 60 million AZN was allocated to Agroleasing, of which 25 million AZN from the Reserve Fund of president. During 6 months, 2013 2,066 entrepreneurs were allotted soft credits worth 180 million AZN, of which 130 million AZN from the budget.—0--
