Electronic trading amounted to 0.003% of the total retail
The turnover of e-retailers in Azerbaijan in January-September 2014 amounted to 4.4 million manat, which is 2.4 times higher than the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee said. Against the background of the total volume of retail trade (by 1 October it was 15.5 billion manat) it is 0.003%.
According to the SSC, 94.9% of the turnover at e-commerce accounted for non-food products. In January-September, mostly legal entities purchased goods in this way from trade outlets mainly belonging to legal entities. --17D-
