Malala Yousufzai became world famous after she started a blog for BBC at the beginning of 2009 at the age of 11. In it, she talked about the details of her life under the Taliban, and her views on the development of education for girls.
October 9, 2012 Yousufzai was badly injured by militants of the terrorist movement Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. They stopped a bus with students, who were returning home, found out Malala and then one of the bandits shot at the girl. The bullet passed through her head. The schoolgirl was in a coma and her chances of recovery were slim, but the doctors managed to save her life.
