Employees of Tariff Council Increased by 10%
By the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers the number of staff of the Secretariat of the Tariff (Price) Council of Azerbaijan increased from 30 to 33 people. The reasons for this step are not reported.
The TC Secretariat operates from March 2006. Initially, the staff was set at 25 persons. In 2015, they were joined by five people. In addition, the management uses 2 service vehicles.
In 2014, the TC was allocated 333.6 thousand AZN from the state budget, and in 2015 the figure was 415.1 thousand manats. This year, the costs of the Secretariat increased 13% (54 thousand manats).
The TC includes members of the government, which determine the tariffs (prices) for goods and services whose prices are regulated by the state. The TC under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economy meets not more than 3-4 times a year. ----08D
