The group Gilan Holding is expanding its scope of activities . Apparently, financial and industrial group, which previously worked only in the non-oil sector of the economy, is said on entering the sphere of petrochemicals.
This holding established on 25th November 2013 a company LLC Caspetchem with a registered capital of 1,000 manat . This information is placed in the registry of commercial legal entities of the Ministry of Taxes . Judging by the name , the new company , which is managed by CEO of the holding Jamil Tahir oglu Muradov will work in the field of petrochemicals. However, the company did not comment on this message . Biggest business structure Azerbaijan has no press service agency Turan and comes bundled with the legal department of the holding.
And recently , on January 30, 2014, established LLC Gilan Capital. Director of the company is Abid Mammadov . The holding said only that the company will deal with investment issues.
Apparently , the holding, controlling huge finance and real estate in Azerbaijan and beyond , is reviewing its structure. Suffice it to say that in December last year it was established LLC Gilan Development Management.
Gilan Holding has operated around for over 15 years and it includes no less than 100 companies and enterprises. The Minister for Emergency Situations Kemaleddin Heydarov has never refuted the information that the holding company is owned by his family. At the same time, local economists argue in social networks, that part of the share in the holding company came under the control of the ruling family .

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
