At today's exhibition dedicated to the promotion of local companies in Baku, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anar Aliyev said that the wage fund in Azerbaijan has increased significantly - 2.7 times. "The average monthly salary has increased by more than 80%," Aliyev said, adding that the ministry annually helps almost 100,000 people find jobs.

Azerbaijan faces a concerning trend of declining per capita food consumption in 2023, as revealed by the State Statistics Committee. Key findings indicate that consumption levels of essential food items such as meat, dairy, and fruits fall well below WHO-recommended standards. For instance, meat consumption was only 43.5 kg per capita, significantly lower than the WHO's 78 kg recommendation, indicating a consumption rate of 55.7%. Similarly, milk and dairy intake stood at 258.8 kg per capita, below the recommended 405 kg, while fruits and berries were consumed at just 37.9% of the WHO's recommended levels.
