GoldenPay to Become Mass System in Azerbaijan
The first national payment system GoldenPay has "grown" more than twofold in the last six months. At the end of the first quarter, about 20 large companies of Azerbaijan were connected to the resource www.hesab.az, and some 10 thousand active members used the mass payment service. Today more than 23 thousand users pay for the services of 33 companies. Rates continue to rise due to the expansion of the scope of virtual services.
Turan was told that people today can transfer money, not only for the usual utilities, cable television, and mobile communication, but also for the services of the virtual world, including broadband Internet. This can used by the holders of any existing payment cards in the country to pay for services through the portal www.hesab.az.
The portal is subject to a complex of re-branding measures. The project is intended to make the service more interesting, effective and relevant to users. Its implementation is entrusted to the company Jeyhun Imanov Studio (JIS). The new logo of the payment system and the upgraded portal interface will make it possible to use it more conveniently.
According to the founder, Farida Ismailzadeh, on the agenda is mass awareness through "registration" in the AzNET network like the e-commerce portal ebay.com.
The portal will serve as a one-stop shop where users can not only pay their utility bills, Internet, phone or TV, but will soon be able to buy and sell products similar to ebay.com, buy plane or train tickets for tourism, to cultural centers, etc .
In addition to the current payment by Visa and MasterCard, the payment will also be used with the "electronic wallet" hesab.az account, which can be opened by registering on the portal. It will be possible to add cash to your account through the banks, the postal network or via the Paypoint self-service terminals.
In the future, the company plans, with the assistance of one of the banks, to issue its own cards Hesab.az that will perform the same functions as Visa and MasterCard, which can make payments, receive certain bonuses or deposit funds in a bank.
GoldenPay also works with corporate clients and provides services to more than 150 Azerbaijani companies. For its activities, GoldenPay received licenses from the leading international payment systems Visa International and MasterCard. Making payments in the system is possible by using the cards Visa /Visa Electron, MasterCard / Maestro, issued by any bank in the world. In order to enhance the security of the system, the encryption VeriSign SSL is used. -17D-
