Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the second purchase of harvesters
Baku/26.12.13/Turan : On December 25 , President Ilham Aliyev signed the second in this year allocation from the state budget for the purchase of foreign harvesters .
State JSC Aqroleasing received 10 million manat to meet the needs of grain producers for harvesting equipment . On 4 July for this purpose the joint-stock company was allocated 15 million manat, which purchased 150 pieces of equipment, the delivery of which has begun.
Since the beginning of 2005 JSC Aqroleasing has purchased 1,185 units of combine harvesters from the state budget and granted by the Government of Japan . Of these, more than 200 were granted to farmers and agribusinesses in the long-term leasing.
From the state budget for 2014 Agroleasing to increase its authorized capital stock will receive AZN 35 million, part of which will also be spent on the purchase of agricultural equipment , including combine harvesters.
It should be noted that despite these multi-million dollar investments in machinery, fertilizers and fuel for grain producers, Azerbaijan continues to import almost all food grains for domestic use . - 08D -
