In April, the market prices of building materials rose by an average of 1.1%. According to the research, in the market for building materials there was comparative activity due to the season. Over the last month prices rose for valves - 1.2%, materials of stone - 2.7%, roofing - 1.3%, planks - 2%, wood coatings - 1.1%, emulsion and paint - 2 , 8%, tile-flooring - 8%, wallpaper - 4%, and gypsum boards - 2.4%. Price reduction only occurs on imported articles of iron - 0.5%.
According to estimates, the prices of construction materials in comparison with the preceding quarter increased 2.6%, while compared to the same period last year, down 1.8%. In April, the share of local production in the market was just over 52%.
Experts attribute the rise in prices in April, mainly to the season and the activation of the construction sector, as well as to the comparative price increase in prices for building materials imported from Russia and Turkey, and construction and activation of the recovery process in the capital and the regions. The revitalization of the market of building materials continue to prevent problems such as monopolization and artificially inflated prices. Experts predict that due to the seasonal activity in the market will grow and prices will rise.
