In IV Quarter SOFAZ Assets Decreased by Nearly $ 2 Billion
The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) on the basis of 2016 expects the assets at around $ 34 billion, said Executive Director Shahmar Movsumov.
"At the end of the current year, we expect revenue and expenditure at approximately the same level, so it is expected that the assets will remain at about $ 34 billion," said Movsumov.
Note that on January 1, 2016 the Fund's assets totaled $ 33 billion 574.1 million, and as of September 30, 2016 - $ 35 billion 822.1 million.
"Next year, a balanced budget iss proposed, and, of course, it depends on oil prices, but we expect growth in assets by about $ 1 billion," said Movsumov. -12B--
