In June, food prices remained stable
Food prices in Baku and other Azerbaijani cities mainly remained unchanged in June compared to May. In comparison to the same period last year, prices on average rose by 1.8%. For a month, in particular, corn oil increased in price by 8.3% and eggs by 12.5%, but chicken meat fell in price by 8.8%. During the month due to the seasonal factor, the prices for agricultural products decreased on average by 20%.
Experts believe that over the next few months, prices will remain stable. In the next few days, food prices will be stable, but the prices of a number of seasonal agricultural products will increase or decrease, according to the season.

In late February, the governments of Pakistan and Azerbaijan are expected to sign an investment agreement worth $2 billion, which will include several projects with SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan). According to Turan, the energy cooperation projects discussed in January in Islamabad and Baku will feature in the agreement.
