A. Sterling Commented on the Ban of Arms Supplies to Azerbaijan
The US Charge d'Affaires in Azerbaijan, Adam Sterling, has clarified the situation with regard to reports of the introduction of America's embargo on arms supplies to Azerbaijan.
According to him, U.S. private companies who supply arms abroad must obtain a license and submit the list of states they are going to sell weapons, to the Department of State.
“A private American company excluded Azerbaijan from the list of the Department of State,” Sterling said, without specifying the name of the company.
However, Sterling said that the United States and Azerbaijan maintain extensive cooperation in the field of security, which has lasted a long time. Nothing has changed in this area between U.S. and Azerbaijan.
