Investigated 339 Tax Crime Cases
The Ministry of Taxes in the investigation of 339 criminal cases on the facts of tax evasion and illegal business activities provided transfer to the state budget of more than 54 million manats. It is reported by the press service of the ministry.
The amount of funds transferred increased by AZN 9.7 million compared with the first nine months of 2015. The proceedings of 175 criminal cases were ended because of full payment of the taxes.
In total for the first nine months of 2016 investigation of 719 cases was completed by the Department of Preliminary Investigation of Tax Crimes. On 11 people a preventive measure of arrest was decided, and 109 people on 95 criminal cases were sent to court. ----08D
